Why Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the strategic placement of extremely thin needles inserted throughout the body into points along channels in the body. These needles stimulate “qi” (pronounced “chee”) in order to rectify any imbalances in the body that are causing pain. Qi is the abundant force that fuels our bodies and us. When we have enough qi, and it is flowing properly, our body functions properly and our organs are nourished. When there is an imbalance in qi and other fluids in the body, our body gets out of balance, which is when dis-ease occurs. Acupuncture helps stimulate your body’s qi to restore it back to a perfect balance.

I really appreciated the time Sarah took with me during our consultation. She was very detailed and made me feel comfortable knowing she wanted to give me the best treatment possible based off my needs and concerns. I felt very relaxed and balanced after my session, which is exactly what I needed!

I am so grateful I found Sarah! I had a bad experience with acupuncture a few years ago and have been squeamish to try again, but every session with Sarah has been amazing. She is so kind and fantastic at what she does. Great listener, makes you feel totally at ease. I’ve had 3 sessions with her, and twice I had come in with major issues. About 6 weeks ago I had a really bad cold- flu, maybe. I had a fever of 102 for three days, and acupuncture with Sarah is what finally fixed it! About a week after that I started experiencing some vertigo- probably from leftover inflammation from the cold, but it was getting so obnoxious! I went in to see Sarah on saturday, and haven’t had any dizziness since then! hallelujah- seriously, this woman is amazing.

Sarah is very knowledgeable in her practice and made me feel comfortable getting my first acupuncture treatment. Her office is peaceful and relaxing, and I enjoyed my whole experience. I felt rejuvenated after my first treatment and plan to return for more sessions. I highly recommend Sarah Pigeon Acupuncture.

I had a session with Sarah recently for the tightness in my back. She was awesome! The place she works out of is super cute and VERY CLEAN. This is so important to me when you are poking me with needles!!!!

I have been to a few other acupuncturists in the past and Sarah was very gentle and thorough with application and removal. ( I have had needles left in me in the past. lol!) I will definitely be back.

Sarah was great. I was very scared to try acupuncture for the first time, but after my motorcycle accident and dealing with the pain I was in, I was willing to try. One session seemed to help a little and I realized it would be good to go for a few sessions. She helped put me at ease, was fast and efficient, and asked great questions that made me think about my health and goals of healing. Just had my second session and it was tons easier and she was just as good.
